New USAF funding awarded to support middle-mile UAV multi-purpose cargo and fuel pod development for austere operations

Through AFWERXs, the United States Air Forces (USAF) has awarded us a Phase 1 STTR to develop a multi-mission payload middle mile UAV cargo and fuel pod.

These two systems will be used to bring tactical supplies to USAF bases established under the Agile Combat Employment Doctrine. The pods will also be designed to carry fluids such as fuel and water. Each Pod will target a payload capacity of 300lbs and 500lbs and they can be stacked vertically to permit water or fuel to be gravity-fed from one pod to another.
